We are an intergenerational community, where every child of God, is an integral member of our church life.  At St. Patrick’s we have multiple opportunities for our children and youth.

During COVID times we have become creative with our offerings for our youngest friends.  We are flexible in new opportunities that meet our families’ needs.  Children’s formation ranges from Zoom Sunday school, to a Virtual Children’s choir, from an outdoor Family Camp, to baptizing thirteen of our children in the Lake this past July.

We also deeply care about the spiritual health of our parents, and we host a Wednesday night support group on-line.  It is a time to walk in solidarity with one another, grow in community, and pray for patience and centeredness during this difficult season of life.

During non-COVID times our youngest friends (ages 3-7) are invited to attend Godly Play at 10am on Sunday mornings.  This is a Montessori curriculum that encourages our children to wonder how God is working in their lives.  Our older children (ages 8+) are invited to take a fuller part in worship—from serving as a reader, an usher, or an acolyte (someone who helps our clergy at the altar).  Also, once a month we have our Spirit-filled Intergenerational Sunday.  It is a time when all our young friends take part in the Sunday sermon, as well as stand together at the altar for communion. Often times our Children's Choir sings at these services as well.

.We also provide seasonal opportunities for our young friends—from Vacation Bible School in the summer, to Christmas Camp in the winter in order to prepare for our annual, glorious Christmas Eve pageant.  We offer multiple ways for your child to grow in their love of God and love of neighbor.
