Women of St. Patrick's Minutes: February 2007

On Friday, February 9th, the Women of St. Patrick.s group met for a Valentine.s Day theme luncheon with delicious food brought by members. In the meeting that followed, the group discussed what had been accomplished during their first year and made some decisions for year two.

The main decision was to have four meetings in 2007 with this meeting counting as the first one. Meeting #2 will be held on April 27th in the St. Pat.s library. It will be a baby shower for our Parish Administrator Jessica whose baby is due in June. Meeting #3 is scheduled for Ruth Jervey.s home in July, with meeting #4 in October at Judy Morrison.s. Dates and details will be announced later in the year.

The women also decided to support and work at the summer Parish Yard sale, the church.s Good Samaritan Program, and the St. Pat.s Knitter.s Group. As many of the members are already involved in community outreach projects, it was decided at this time to review possible group outreach participation at a later meeting.

We welcome all women of St. Pat.s to come in April for Jessica.s baby shower. Jessica is excited and so are we, so please join us. A sign up sheet is on the hall table at the church.
