Long weekend in spring?

Eric

Boys and Girls Club: They would be happy to visit our group on a Sunday eve, or show us around their facility then. They would welcome our help at the Thanksgiving and Xmas events. They partner with local weekend events like the fall Coastal Clean-up which we could help with. They have a junior staff program too.

Scavenger Hunt: Teams of two are given a list of foods needed by Mana, clothing or bedding needed by Tahoe Family Connections (formerly the Children’s Cabinet) or Tahoe Safe Alliance, etc.  A parent is needed to drive each team.  Good neighborhoods to canvass are those that are good for “trick or treat.”  An article can be put in the Bonanza before the event.  Prizes for the first team finished, most donations, etc.  Our youth may need to bring friends to have enough teams to make this fun. Contact:  Linda Brown, 530-562-0510.
