Pictures from Farewell Retirement Party for Jim and Deb Beebe

Joy Strotz did her usual amazing thing at the farewell party for the Beebes at took several group photos. If you would like to order this series as a canvas, art block, or any individual prints, just let her know and she will make sure that the sale proceeds go to the Beebes as a gift collectively from all of you. Contact Joy at 775-831-8898 or by email.

Also thanks to Joy, here's a link to some photo highlights at St. Pats from 2008-present. Most of the photos were taken prior to 2010, but she picked up her camera for Jim's last service, so there's a little something more recent to see. From Joy: "Please forgive me as I came far from including everyone at St. Pat's in this collection of images, and putting this together was a bit impromptu."

Reading Program

Would you like to make a difference in the life of a middle school student? If you have a half hour one day per week you can volunteer to read one-on-one with a student at Incline Middle School. The students gain literacy skills and enjoy the mentorship that is formed. The reading program is Monday, Tuesday, Thurday, Friday 12:04-12:34. If you are interested please contact Liz Harrell at 832-4220 or by email.

Search Committee

The vestry would like to announce that a search committee for a new rector has been formed. Each individual is highly qualified through their proven service and devotion to St. Patrick’s parish or other Episcopal Church parishes to serve on this committee.

The seven members are: Steve Barney, Karen Colbert, Colin Dawson, Beth Drewes, Lydia Grimes, Emy Gurowitz, and Bob Skidmore.

The committee will begin meeting this month and will be working closely in the months ahead with Bishop Dan Edwards and the diocesan interim specialist, Rev. Helen McPeak, to find a new rector for our parish. We commend these individuals for answering the call to serve for this very demanding work. The committee should know that our staff, vestry and entire congregation will support them fully in our hearts, minds, and prayers as they commence their duties for this parish.
