The Episcopal Church is a part of the diverse Anglican Communion worldwide. As such, we are encouraged to use these wider liturgical resources in our worship. The Affirmation of Faith from the New Zealand Prayerbook is one such resource that we will use this Pentecost season.
Earn money for St. Patrick’s while you shop! The Office has received more Raley’s Quality of Life Cards! The card is used every time you shop at Raley’s, and then the church receives a percentage of proceeds as a donation. St. Patrick’s has earned over $1900 since we started the program in 2004! Please come to the church office to receive a card, and we will register it for you. The office is open Mon.-Fri. from 9-1 p.m. Or if you see Karen Barney or Ron Young in church on a Sunday, either of them can get a card set up for you.
St. Pat's recycles used inkjet cartridges in exchange for money for our church. It's easy to participate:
just bring in your used inkjet cartridges in a Ziploc bag and put them into the collection box in the white cabinet on the way to the Library. We send them to Empties4Cash, and then they send us a check!
Come on out and lend your voice to our choir, which meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. All levels of singing ability are appreciated and welcome!!
Stay after the Saturday Night Alive! service for a meal, Godly Play (ages 2-10), youth activities (ages 11 & up), and adult education beginning November 26th.
Invite your friends and family. We'll wrap things up by 7:15 PM.
What is Godly Play? It is based on a Montessori method of engaging children with story telling. It is a method developed by an Episcopal priest to teach children Bible stories and parables and to allow children's free interaction with them.
